- Construction Preparation
- Site Selection: Choose a flat location free from severe rain‑wash, and with convenient access for future maintenance.
- Material Preparation: Make sure all materials are complete, including PP modules, connectors, sealing materials and fasteners.
- Tool Preparation: Prepare excavators, forklifts, spirit levels, plumb bobs, tape measures, electric drills, screwdrivers and other required tools.
- Safety Inspection: Guarantee a safe construction site, keep away from high‑voltage power lines, flammable and explosive hazards. All workers shall wear proper personal protective equipment.

- Foundation Treatment
- Treat the foundation according to local geological conditions to ensure a solid and even base.
- Excavate the foundation pit and keep the pit bottom horizontal, which shall be checked with a spirit level.
- Lay one layer of waterproof material and one layer of sand‑gravel bedding at the pit bottom.

- PP‑module Installation
- Place PP‑modules on the bedding layer in accordance with construction drawings, and keep spacing and layout compliant with design requirements.
- Fasten PP‑modules into an integrated whole with connectors and fasteners to achieve tight, leak‑free joints.
- Check the horizontal level and verticality of modules by spirit level and plumb bob to guarantee structural stability.

- Sealing Treatment
- Apply special sealing material to all seams between modules and the perimeter edges of the rainwater tank to prevent water leakage.

- Pipeline Installation
- Install the inlet pipeline on the top of the rain‑harvesting tank as specified in the design.
- Fit the outlet pipeline at the bottom or side wall of the tank for subsequent rainwater reuse.

- Inspection & Commissioning
- Carry out a full inspection over the whole tank system to verify firm connections, intact sealing and zero leakage.
- Inject an appropriate volume of water into the tank and test the water storage and drainage performance.

- Backfilling & Site Restoration
- Backfill the foundation pit after construction completion and restore the original ground surface.

- Regular Maintenance
- Inspect the tank periodically to confirm stable structure and no water leakage.
- Remove debris and sediment inside the tank on a regular basis to keep the interior clean.

Following the above‑mentioned procedures can guarantee construction quality and satisfactory performance of your PP‑module rainwater harvesting tank. During on‑site construction, all operations shall strictly comply with design documents and professional on‑site guidance.
