By managing air dynamics—evacuating massive air quickly during pipeline filling and admitting massive air during draining—it prevents water hammer, maintains system hydraulics, and acts as an efficient vacuum breaker to protect pipelines from negative pressure damage.

Working Principle

Our kinetic air valve functions based on aerodynamic principles and a smart one-piece floating ball design:
  • Pipeline Filling (Air Exhaust): When the system starts filling with water, the valve remains fully open, allowing large volumes of trapped air to escape rapidly through the kinetic exhaust hole.
  • System Under Pressure (Tight Sealing): As water fills the chamber, the aerodynamic float ball lifts to seal the outlet, preventing water leakage even under low-pressure conditions (from 0.1 bar to 0.3 bar).
  • Pipeline Draining (Air Intake / Vacuum Relief): When the pump shuts down or water drains, a negative pressure occurs. The float ball drops instantly, introducing massive air to break the vacuum formation and ensure efficient draining without pipe collapse.
